【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftensilestrengthincludingstress-strainbehaviorundermonotonicuniaxialloadingofcontinuousfiber-reinforcedadvancedceramicsatelevatedtemperatures.Thistestmethodaddresses,butisnotrestrictedto,varioussuggestedtestspecimengeometriesaslistedintheappendix.Inaddition,testspecimenfabricationmethods,testingmodes(force,displacement,orstraincontrol),testingrates(forcerate,stressrate,displacementrate,orstrainrate),allowablebending,temperaturecontrol,temperaturegradients,anddatacollectionandreportingproceduresareaddressed.Tensilestrengthasusedinthistestmethodreferstothetensilestrengthobtainedundermonotonicuniaxialloadingwheremonotonicreferstoacontinuousnonstoptestratewithnoreversalsfromtestinitiationtofinalfracture.1.2Thistestmethodappliesprimarilytoadvancedceramicmatrixcompositeswithcontinuousfiberreinforcement:uni-directional(1-D),bi-directional(2-D),andtri-directional(3-D)orothermulti-directionalreinforcements.Inaddition,thistestmethodmayalsobeusedwithglass(amorphous)matrixcompositeswith1-D,2-D,3-Dandothermulti-directionalcontinuousfiberreinforcements.Thistestmethoddoesnotdirectlyaddressdiscontinuousfiber-reinforced,whisker-reinforced,orparticulate-reinforcedceramics,althoughthetestmethodsdetailedheremaybeequallyapplicabletothesecomposites.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardandareinaccordancewithSI10-02IEEE/ASTMSI10.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.RefertoSection7forspecificprecautions.
