【摘要】:Transparentparts,suchasaircraftwindshields,canopies,cabinwindows,andvisors,shallbemeasuredforcompliancewithopticaldistortionspecificationsusingthistestmethod.Thistestmethodissuitableforassessingopticaldistortionoftransparentpartsasitrelatestothevisualperceptionofdistortion.Itisnotsuitableforassessingdistortionasitrelatestopureangulardeviationoflightasitpassesthroughthepart.EitherTestMethodF801orPracticeF733isappropriateandshallbeusedforthislatterapplication.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforrawmaterial.1.1Whenanobserverlooksthroughanaerospacetransparency,relativeopticaldistortionresults,specificallyinthick,highlyangled,multilayeredplasticparts.Distortionoccursinalltransparenciesbutisespeciallycriticaltoaerospaceapplicationssuchascombatandcommercialaircraftwindscreens,canopies,orcabinwindows.Thisisespeciallytrueduringoperationssuchastakeoff,landing,andaerialrefueling.Itiscriticaltobeabletoquantifyopticaldistortionforprocurementactivities.1.2Thistestmethodcoverstheapparatusandproceduresthataresuitableformeasuringthegridlineslope(GLS)oftransparentparts,includingthosethataresmallorlarge,thinorthick,flatorcurved,oralreadyinstalled.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforrawmaterial.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
